Product Description |
RPM660E is a non -halogenated flame retardant based on red phosphorus, particularly
suitable for EVA resin. It is offered as a free-flowing and dust-free master batch in pellets
physical form which makes it very easy to handle, accurate to dose and safe to process,
allowing high consistency in the quality of the final article.
RPM660E is based on stabilized and micro-encapsulated red phosphorus powder
grades and EVA as a carrier resin. It is easy to be homogenously dispersed in the polymer
compound.

Applications |
RPM660E is the master batch developed especially for use in EVA. It is the ideal partner for halogen-free flame-proofing EVA, to produce such as tubes, jackets, profiles, wires,cables, film, etc.

Formulation |
RPM660E is generally combined with one or more synergistic co-agents such as metal hydroxides (Al (OH)3, Mg(OH)2), organic phosphoric esters, expandable graphite, melamine derivatives, etc in small quantities. A recommended dosage should range from 10 to 14%(by wt) based on the weight of total composition, depending on the kind of polymers, other flame retardant content and the required flame retardancy class.
